Volkswagen’s Beetle, officially the Volkswagen Type 1 is one of the oldest nameplates in automotive history still in use today. In1998 it received first major redesign. Volkswagen’s Beetle is a two-door, rear-engine economy car, intended for five occupants. It was marketed by German automaker Volkswagen (VW) from 1938 until 2003.

This vintage Volkswagen Beetle was designed by Ferdinand Porsche, in need by Adolf Hitler who wanted a cheap, simple car to be mass-produced for his country’s new road network. It’s sale success was huge with over 21 million units of the car sold, making it the longest-running and the most-produced car from a single platform ever built. The car was widely known as the Käfer in Germany.
