Toyota Gazoo Racing’s GR Heritage Parts will revive more old components to keep vintage Toyotas, both sporty and tough, operating as they should. 14 components will be released over 2025 for AE86 Corollas, A70 and A80 Supras, and 40-, 60-, 70-, and 80-series Land Cruisers, expanding the portfolio it started offering in 2020.
“The project replicates discontinued spare parts and sells them as authentic parts, to support customers who wish to continue driving older vehicles that are full of memories and that they truly love,” says Gazoo Racing. Other elements, such as the A80 Supra rear speed sensor, are more difficult to work around, however, some, like the fuel gauges for the 70- and 80-series Land Cruisers and the oil pressure gauges for the 60- and 70-series Land Cruisers, may be swapped out for aftermarket components.
Two of the 14 new parts that Toyota announced in January are now in production and will be available at dealerships in February. One of these new models could be useful if you’re working on a Toyota restoration project or even if you want to maintain your favourite beater in good working order. GR Heritage Parts will accept your request if you’re still trying to find a discontinued item. Your requests for part reproduction may be fulfilled if enough other Toyota enthusiasts require the same item.
